Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This policy explains what data we collect, why, and where it goes. In short: your practice data never leaves your device unless you choose to tell us about a problem.
Your practice data
Everything you track (such as practices, schedules, daily completions, mantras, and notes) is stored only on your device. We don't have a server copy, and we cannot see it. It is included in your device's own iCloud/local backups, so restoring your phone from a backup also restores your practices.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use TelemetryDeck to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example how many people complete onboarding, or how often a feature is used. These events:
- are anonymous and structured (e.g. "a practice was created"), not free text — we don't collect your practice names, mantras, or notes;
- are not linked to your identity, email, or any account;
- are turned on by default, but you can opt out at any time via Settings → Share anonymous usage data.
Feedback
If you send feedback using the form in Settings → Fast feedback, your message and your email address (if you chose to include one) are stored on our backend which is powered by Supabase. The information you submit is used solely to evaluate and respond to user feedback. It's not linked to your analytics data or any other data we hold. Emails collected this way are deleted once we've resolved or responded to the feedback.
There is no way for the app (or anyone using it) to read submissions to this form again once submitted. It's a one-way inbox.
We don't verify that a submitted email address belongs to the person submitting it. By including one, you're representing that you're authorized to manage that account and that you accept being contacted at that address about your feedback.
Purchases
If you support development via an in-app tip, purchases are processed entirely by Apple. RevenueCat validates the purchase receipt and records the event of a purchase, under an anonymous app-generated user ID (not your name, Apple ID, or payment details — none of which we ever see).
Children
Praxa isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Where data is processed
The limited data that ever leaves your device — anonymous analytics, and any feedback you choose to send — is handled by the third-party services named above (TelemetryDeck, Supabase, and RevenueCat), which may process and store it on servers outside your country. We only share what those sections describe, and only for the purposes described there.
